Distler Construction has been building quality homes and cottages in the Parry Sound Area since 1989. Fritz and Angelika Distler founded Distler Construction after moving from Germany to Canada in 1987.
 Fritz first started working as a carpenter in 1975 and earned his 'Meister Brief' (Master's Diploma) as a carpenter in Germany in 1982. As a Master Carpenter, Fritz has had extensive schooling and training in the Carpentry Trade. Fritz and Angelika's son, Alex, also works in the family business. Alex has gained knowledge and skills while working with Fritz for over 10 years.
Distler Construction is generally comprised of anywhere between 3 to 6 employees other than Fritz, Angelika and Alex. Currently, our full-time employees are Jason, Eric, Joe & Chris. Being a small company, we are able to serve our customers better and ensure that they will be satisfied with their new home or renovation.
Since Distler Construction's start, most of our projects have been located on scenic Georgian Bay in the area surrounding Parry Sound. Currently, we are building a 27 lot subdivision in Parry Sound at the end of Waubeek Street. Our newest development is Silver Birch Condominiums, Parry Sound’s most affordable and energy efficient new housing development. Our experience includes renovating and ranges from building 800 square foot cabins to 6,000+ square foot cottages and homes. |
